PROGRESS PICTURE GALLERY

Students posted progress pictures to Google slides which were visible to the whole class. This was meant to bring the sharing that usually takes place in class to online learning. This also served as a tool to keep students accountable for their work at home as they had to submit a progress picture after every class for points. Lastly, these progress pictures allowed for the possibility of peer evaluations. Students would give each other feedback in written form on the slides before the deadline. The format of the peer evaluation was 4-6 sentences, one positive comment one piece of constructive criticism based on the use of the elements and principles of art. For this assignment in particular, students had to comment give feedback on what they thought the intent of the artwork was upon first seeing it. This made for interesting discussions within students groups as what was perceived was compared to what was intended.
